Pedies dla Ladinia

A series of contributions on the history, minority protection, culture, and society of the Dolomite Ladins, including some original songs by the Val Gardena group “Trio Ëiles de Gherdëina”.

On May 20, 2017, the Ladin Colloquium took place in Neudrossenfeld as part of the European Days. Some contributions from that colloquium are presented in this short film in order to gain particular insights into the reality of the numerically small linguistic minority of the Dolomites' Ladins. Historical as well as cultural, institutional, and sociolinguistic aspects are taken into account.

Music Videos

In these music videos, the “Trio ëiles de Gherdëina” (women’s trio from Val Gardena) offers a glimpse into Ladin melodies, capturing the essence of their identity and the traditions of the Dolomites. These are traditional songs that can be accompanied by various instruments.
